Selling Sunset returned to Netflix earlier this month as the cameras caught up with the latest goings-on at The Oppenheim Group in LA.

The show has become renowned for showing off the west coast’s most luxurious properties while intertwining the real-life feuds and rows that inevitably emerge from the competitive agents.

There was also a big change to the look of the show in season six as former series favorites Christine Quinn and Maya Vander bid farewell while new cast members Bre Tiesi and Nicole Young entered the fray.

Season six appeared to veer away from the formula which made it much-loved among fans, however, focusing much of its time on the newfound feud between long-serving stalwart Chrishell Stause and newcomer Nicole.

Things exploded between the two throughout the series, including shocking drug-using claims made by Chrishell, while plenty of other rows emanated across the episodes.

Now, watching from afar, it seems Maya isn’t impressed with seeing how the show depicted the feuds among the cast, insisting the show should get back to its core - the properties on show.

Her comments came on Instagram in response to former cast mate Heather Rae El Moussa who took to the social media platform to celebrate the show’s ongoing success.

Heather penned to her followers: “It’s crazy to think that I’ve been here since the day Selling Sunset started. The OGs were just a group of really hardworking women but we had no idea where this show was going to take us.

“Now here we are- #1 in the US and so many other countries on @netflix, all living our lives, being bosses, and growing over time.

"You guys have seen me through so many stages of my life (the good and the bad) just through Selling Sunset, alone, so if you’ve been here since day one, what’s been the biggest POSITIVE takeaway from the show?

“Let’s focus on the good and talk about what your favorite season was or how the show inspired you or anything along those lines… I would love to hear from you.”

Among the replies was Maya who hit out at the series: “Love season 1 [wink emoji] I always said that! Bring the real estate back.”

And Maya wasn’t alone as several fans echoed her comments, with @jchristmannn replying: “Literallyyyyy I wanna see the housessss with a little drama not the other way around.”
